The Rankings answer a simple football question: who looks strongest right now? Week 1 performance matters, but one Saturday—especially against an overmatched opponent—does not get to erase everything we know about a roster.
OFF and DEF show which side of the ball is carrying the load. The team write-ups explain the people, pressure points and style behind those numbers. Resume joins after Week 2, when more teams have faced meaningful FBS competition.
The Matchups page is where the board meets the game. Quarterbacks, line play, injuries, scheme and home field can move the final call when the football evidence is strong enough.
The Scorecard tracks the exact picks, probabilities and spreads published before kickoff. Vegas Spread is a comparison point, never an ingredient in the Jar.
